Learning to learn for yourself

Do you associate learning with having to satisfy other people? Such as teachers, parents, partners, employers? Can you imagine what it would be like to learn without anyone else’s gaze or expectations upon you? Would you like to learn simply to boost your own knowledge or stimulate your mind? Would you like to learning more about the things that are important to you?

We call this self-directed learning or perhaps self-empowered learning. And it is anything but a chore. As well as the joy of learning freely being a wonderful way to wellness, there are plenty of things we can learn that will directly impact on our wellbeing.

At Self Detective we have created a learning platform specifically for people who wish to do some good self-directed work on themselves and their wellness. Yet hopefully this is a mere springboard for a life-time of playful exploration of the thoughts and ideas from here, there and everywhere.
