Benefits of being creative
Working on yourself creatively can be advantageous in many ways. Here are some benefits for you to consider…
It can help you to harmonise your mind with your soul and body. (How many times do we leave our bodies out of the wellness equation?)
It can help you to discover and express things about yourself that you don’t have words for.
It can uncover hidden things, bringing unconscious things into our awareness.
It can allow you to get more in touch with your emotions and feelings, rather than being stuck with your thinking, your over-thinking and your unwanted thinking.
There is a high probability of growth and change (for the better) for those who regularly practise creativity and expression.
Working creatively helps you look at the world (or your issues, dilemmas or decision-making, etc.) from a different perspective than by thinking or by being verbal. This can help you get out of stuck patterns of thought and behaviour.
The action of doing creative things helps to take energy away from the actions of being anxious and being in a state of panic.
